Danny's history as a driver
Experience: Born into a racing family and grew up working on his father's cars. At 16 years old, he started driving his own race cars and continued until 1989. The highlight of his career was when he was the Late Model Champion at Galesburg Speedway in 1985. He began working with Andy in 1995. Danny had been voted by his peers as the Kalamazoo Speedway NASCAR Mechanic of the year, consecutively for 1999, 2000,2001 & 2002. In 2004, he again captured this honor as well as being named The Mechanic of the Year for the Heartland Region by NASCAR. He considers this a great honor.
