MARCH, 2004
The Bozell Boyz will be back at Kalamazoo for the 2004 season. Andy Bozell is the owner of all 3 cars and will drive of one of the cars with Jeff Bozell and Phil Bozell piloting the remaining two.
Andy will be back with the same car he drove last year when he secured his 6th consecutive Super Late Model Championship. There won't be much of a change for Andy's car and most of his standard sponsorships are on board once again, including Hardings Marketplace & Kalsee Credit Union. We would also like to welcome back One Way Products after a one year absence.
At the conclusion of the 2002 season, Andy purchased the car
Jeff drove all year from Todd Currier. It was run last year on a limited
schedule at Toledo Speedway and Kalamazoo. Jeff will once again in the driver's
seat of this familiar car and will be a definite contender for the Super
Late Title in 2004. He has quite a few sponsors lined up, some who have
been with him for many years along with a few new names. Scheck Mechanical,
Awesome Racewear, Fastenal , Amsoil by Dwight Theodore and Weller Auto Parts
remain with him as well as newcomers Main St. Pub & Grill, Mattress
Mart, Defender Racing Bodies and Roberts Lawn Care.
.Phil will be in Andy's back up car as his car was sold last year. If you happened to be at the Summer Sizzler at New Paris last year, you know how good this car is as Andy pocketed $20,000 with the win. Phil has returning sponsorships as well, including LaRue's Restaurant. Phil will also be driving a limited ARCA schedule. We do not have any definite dates yet, but they will be posted as they become available.
Besides competing all year at the zoo, there will be the Kalamazoo Enduros along with some traveling special shows. All of the shows will be posted on the website as they approach.
There will be some changes in the Andy Bozell website pages as we will combine information for all three drivers and crew members. Look for these changes in the near future. We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the sponsors, fans, friends and family members who continue to support the Boyz in many different, yet all important ways. 2003 Michigan Racing Scene Driver of the Year
January 17, 2004 ~~ The Michigan Auto Racing Fan Club Banquet was held and Andy received the prestigious Michigan Racing Scene Driver of the Year award. This is only the 2nd year this award has been given. He also received an award from the MARFC honoring him as the Kalamazoo Speedway Track Champion for 2003. Many tracks were honored at the banquet.
